Weed Mitigation for the Lyons Valley River Park Project

Monday, June 3

Western States Reclamation, the landscape subcontractor to Roberts will be on-site Monday, June 3, to perform spot weed mitigation efforts for the Lyons Valley River Park Project. They will be performing weed mitigation mainly in the area near upper pond area, where weeds are most visible. They will be using a product called Anime 2-4D.

Moving forward, Western States intends to utilize primarily mechanical controls as the only herbicide application. The application will not be full-site; focus will only be on those areas that currently have established weed populations.

Emergency Warning Sirens to be Tested

Monday, June 3 | 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Boulder County will continue audible testing of the countywide emergency sirens at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, June 3. The test is the third of the monthly emergency audible siren tests, which take place on the first Monday of each month, from April through August.
