Celebrate Lyons History at the Lyons Redstone Museum

You're invited to History Day at the Lyons Redstone Museum — happening today, Saturday at 1:00 PM. Join the celebration for an inspiring afternoon celebrating local stories, people, and preservation efforts.

Featured Speakers:

Julie Smith & Patricia Appelfeller will share how their light-hearted book, All About Town, came to be — a touching story about LaVern Johnson and the importance of loving the place you live.
Cathy Rivers will introduce the new Priscilla Cohan Artistic Pursuits Grant Endowment Fund, supporting local creativity and expression.
Sarah Lorang, from the Lyons Historic Preservation Commission, will highlight the recently completed Historic Context Report prepared by Pinyon Environmental.

Plus:

Presentation of Lyons 50+ Year Family Certificates to graduating Lyons High School seniors.
Updates on museum activities and upcoming exhibits.

Wildfire Mitigation

Town of Lyons Match for Boulder County Wildfire Partners

Boulder County will continue their wildfire mitigation program which offers up to $500 to homeowners who complete eligible mitigation activities. New this year - the Town of Lyons will match up to an additional $500 per household for eligible mitigation activities until the matching funds are depleted. The Town of Lyons Wildfire Mitigation program will utilize the same eligible mitigation activities as Boulder County but will also require an Individual Home Assessment which is offered by Wildfire Partners. Boulder County does NOT require a home assessment to claim a rebate.

Lyons Bulk Water System

Credit Card Payment Not Available

The Town’s Bulk Water System is still unable to accept credit card payments. We understand this is an inconvenience and are actively working with our vendors to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, bulk water customers can still access the system by setting up a prepaid account at Town Hall during regular business hours. Once set up, the account can be used to access water at any time. Thank you for your patience as we work to restore full service.
