A floodplain development permit is required for all development in the floodplain. Refer to the Floodplain Development Permit Information sheet for information commonly required for an application.

Elevation Certificate and Floodproofing Forms

Notice for those in the confluence area, floodplain, and floodway: the Town has received word from FEMA that the Elevation Certificates (EC) have been changed to a new form with an expiration date of November 30, 2022. Please make sure you have the correct version when doing work such as elevating or making any other changes in the Special Flood Hazard  Area. You will notice many formatting changes, including a new building diagram on the Elevation Certificate depicting walkout basements.
