Obtaining a Library Card
Anyone who resides in the Town, or surrounding unincorporated area may obtain a library card at no charge. Children under the age of 12 must obtain parental or guardian approval to receive a library card. Lyons Depot Library is a member of the Colorado Library Card (CLC) program. CLC card carriers are entitled to services at all other CLC participating libraries.

Checkout Periods
The due date for all items is TWO (2) WEEKS.

Renewal Policy
DVD, VHS & Current Issue Magazines: 1 (one)
Books & Audio & Back Issues Magazines: 4 (four)

Patron Responsibilities

• Inform library of any change in address or telephone number
• Return borrowed items on time or renew
• When renewing by telephone, write renewal date on each item renewed. Failure to do so invalidates renewal.
• Return audio/visual materials only to desk. DO NOT USE BOOK DROP. DO NOT RETURN TO ANOTHER LIBRARY. Failure to comply results in $1.00 fee per item.
• Pay late fees or damage charges immediately, or arrange a payment schedule.
• Report any damaged items to library staff when returning material. This includes problems with A/V materials. Library staff realize that things fall apart and problems may have occurred in a prior checkout. PLEASE, NO NOT ATTEMPT YOUR OWN REPAIRS

Updates are sent once/month BCC so that your address is not broadcast to anyone else signed up for the service.

NO OTHER promotional E-Mail is sent to this group.
Updates include A/V material, & are separated into three categories:

• Adult/Young Adult
• Juvenile/Junior
• Easy/Toddler

Your PC must be able to read Microsoft Word docs. Updates are sent as attachments.
