Lyons Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

Learn more about what the Town is doing to minimize the impacts of floods, dam failures, wildfires, hazardous materials incidents, and other hazards.  A draft of the Town’s Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment is available for public review and comment. The plan assesses risks posed by natural and man-made hazards, identifies ways to reduce those risks and provides a basis resilient land use planning.  An Advisory Committee that includes representatives from various Town departments developed the plan over the past eight months with assistance from a consultant.  The Town is now soliciting public comment on the draft plan before it is finalized.
