The Sustainable Futures Commission understands that the bus does not work for everyone, so the team continues to research other alternative programs that will help provide residents with more flexible transit options. However, they need your help. Please take this quick survey to better inform the SFC of the transit alternatives Lyons residents would be interested in.
Apply for an EcoPass
Download, print and fill in the EcoPass Application Form and bring it to Town Hall (come on Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays or Thursdays and ask for Toby Russell). Alternatively, copies are available at Town Hall.
A photo ID (Drivers License) and proof of Lyons residence (Utility Bill OR Renter’s Agreement) are required. We will take a photo of you that day, and send to RTD, as part of the application.
Passes normally arrive 8-10 working days after the application is submitted.
Replace an EcoPass
Email firstname.lastname@example.org (include the following information in the email: Name, Address, and Phone Number), for the Town to issue an authorization form for a replacement. Alternatively, forms are available at Town Hall.
A Town staff member will contact you when the form has been completed, and arrange a pick-up at Town Hall. You will then need to take the authorization form to the RTD Boulder Transit Center to get a replacement card. RTD charges $10 for replacement cards.
Haven’t used your pass for a while? Chances are it no longer works. To reactivate your EcoPass, call RTD EcoPass support at 303.299.2273, and ask them to reactivate it.
