Bohn Park Phase I

Phase I (shaded gray below) is open!
This phase of the Bohn Park Recovery Project includes river restoration and improved ecological habitat, additional parking, a new restroom facility, a pedestrian bridge connecting to 4th Ave., continuance of the trail system within the plan area, and other infrastructure enhancements.

The Town of Lyons charges a parking fee at Bohn Park, or visitors may park at the wastewater treatment plant lot (east of 2nd Ave.) for free.

There is a parking fee of $5 for every 4 hours, for those who wish to park in Bohn Park Park. Daily parking fees can be purchased from kiosks within the parking area. Please put the payment receipt on your dashboard. Full instructions are on the kiosk. The kiosks take cash bills, coins, and credit/debit card payment.

Resident Parking Pass

One free resident parking pass will be issued to one vehicle per household that signs up. A second pass may be obtained for $35, and third pass is $55. Non-residents may purchase a season parking pass for a flat rate of $75 per vehicle.

Vehicles must have the parking pass displayed at all times when parked in Bohn Park to avoid a violation fee. Golf carts are required to pay parking fees, as well; residents may use the one free parking pass on golf carts.

Resident parking stickers will be mailed once proof of residency and vehicle information is provided. Residency is proven by showing a Town of Lyons utility bill. To sign up for a parking pass, visit Lyons Town Hall, or apply online.
